  Advantages of Ceramic balls over Steel

Ceramic balls are much smoother than steel balls 
Ceramic balls are much harder than steel balls 
(over 100% harder)
Thermal expansion is 25% that of a steel ball
resulting in much less heat under load

All of these factors result in much less friction for a Ceramic ball than a steel one

Ceramic Bearing Maintenance

It is recommended that you maintain the bearings after 6 months of racing on them. 

Remove shields carefully and clean out grease

Wash out race & balls and let air dry.

Refill with either Shimano Grease or White Lithium Grease - only 20% full

Reseal and you are ready to go

This is a narrow hub designed to fit the Fiser spindle but will work on any spindle

You can buy one hub w/bearings and extra hubs without bearings & save money

This is a narrow hub designed to fit the Fiser spindle but it will work on any spindle.

Uses either 1/4" or 5/16" bolts 

Uses standard ball bearings

SMOKER Left Rear Ratcheting Hub
Locks up in the corner and unlocks in the straight for better control on some tracks. Uses 3 - 1/4" studs.       Specify 1/4" Key or Splined Key.
